“This is the second time I have used Phil at PC Pal, and as with his first visit to me he was excellent and soon had my laptop working again, unfortunately my laptop developed a different fault sometime later (due to old age)but it was no problem for Phil as he got me up and running again very quickly.
Because of the age of my then laptop (8 years old) he suggested that at sometime in the future I should consider upgrading my old XP laptop for perhaps Windows 7, this I did recently and I am glad I took Phil’s advice as Windows 7 is so much better than my dated XP. Phil even gave me some instruction on the new Windows 7 software and installed the print driver for me – wirelessly. He also advised backing up my files regularly – which I have never done, he even suggested good models/memory size/hard drive’s and what to go for as I had no idea what was best suited to my workload.
All in all excellent advice from a very competent engineer.
